About the comic
Cata wants to be a painter, but her days disappear into her phone. A leaflet leads her to a support group for phone addiction. As she spends less time online, her friendship with Flor begins to change too.
Etileno is Carmen B. Mikelarena's first graphic novel. It follows Cata as she tries to grow up, break her social media habit and work out whose approval she actually wants.
Published in 2024 with support from the INJUVE creation grants.
